Food and Agriculture sector is undergoing a rapid transformation in India and globally. The role of various stake-holders in driving the growth and value added transformation of farm sector is commendable. The institution of the Agriculture Awards in 2016 was a significant step in this direction to recognize the contributions of various stake-holders in agriculture. The Awards are given annually in different categories to those individuals and organizations, who have made outstanding contributions in their respective fields. The National Awards Committee is headed by His Excellency, Mr. Justice P. Sathasivam, Hon’ble Governor of Kerala, with sixteen persons of global eminence as its members. The Global Awards shall be presented on Nov 5, 2019 in New Delhi.
Farm Power Awards 2019

Mechanization of farms and tractor power holds the key to agricultural efficiency and profitability in farming. India has seen rapid progress in farm power since the use of early tractors on a significant scale in mid-seventies, post Green Revolution era. The tractor industry has since then moved up in respect of the number of companies from few then to 15 plus now, and from couple of brands to over one hundred now and from low 25 HP to an average of 40 HP plus in a journey of just 40 years. Indian tractor industry is powered by the strong R&D and innovations to provide wide range of choices of tractors to suit all categories and needs of farmers. Besides launching an array of over a dozen new brand of tractors every year, the industry has also gone global and is now e=serving the customers from Asia to Africa and Europe to Americas, which speaks of the international acceptance of the quality that Indian industry produces. While major tractor companies have diversified their portfolios to provide wide range of farm equipment and machinery, new machinery companies have also come up in large numbers especially from the states of Gujarat, Punjab, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, which are driving the growth in farm sector. The industry is also engaged in a comprehensive manner with the farmers, providing them information, training and facilitation. The positive role and incredible performance of the industry need to be recognized at the national level. Realising the above, ICFA powered by Apollo, is hosting 1st Farm Power Awards on November 7 at National Agriculture Science Centre, New Delhi. Join to be part of a great event.
India Agribusiness Awards 2019

These awards will be presented to the agribusiness companies operating in India, who are serving the farm or food sector with good quality products, technologies or services. Companies fulfilling the following criteria may send their short write up by mail for consideration by the Jury.
Criteria:
Minimum 3 years of operations and growth of 7% plus during the last 3 yearsMinimum Size Rs. 100 crores and employing 100 plus and operating in 7 plus StatesHaving launched innovative products, technologies or business modelsContributing to the society through sustainability projects or significant CSR programsR&D driven professional organization with strong ethical code of conduct in business
